Privacy Policy

What we collect

ListBox collects minimal data, used solely to deliver scheduled notifications to your device.

When you use the app, we collect:

A device push token — a unique identifier issued by Apple Push Notification service (APNs) so we can deliver notifications to your device. This token is opaque and does not identify you personally.
Your selected list ID and list name — to know which Apple Reminders list to display in your widget and notifications.
The titles of items in your selected list — to include in notification content. These are stored temporarily on our servers and overwritten on every sync. We do not read or store reminder notes, due dates, location data, or any other reminder fields.
Your notification preferences — selected mode (Quiet, Nudge, Persistent, Nag), active window hours, keep-present setting.
Your time zone offset — so notifications fire during your local active window. We use only the offset (in minutes from UTC), never your GPS location.

We do NOT collect:

Your name, email, phone number, or any contact information
Your location (no GPS, no geolocation data)
Device identifiers used for advertising or tracking
Analytics, crash reports, or usage data
Any information from your address book, photos, or other apps

What stays on your device

ListBox is built around Apple Reminders, which is your private data managed by iOS. The app reads from and writes to Reminders via Apple's EventKit framework, which requires your explicit permission. Your reminders are not transmitted to us beyond the item titles needed for the notification feature described above.

Local app settings — including which list you're tracking, your preferred mode, and your active window — are stored on your device.

How we use your data

The data we collect is used solely to deliver scheduled notifications. We use it to:

Identify your device for push notification delivery via Apple
Schedule notifications based on your selected mode and active window
Display your list contents in notifications and the home screen widget

We do NOT:

Sell your data to third parties
Share your data with advertisers
Use your data for marketing
Use your data for any purpose beyond delivering the app's core feature

Network requests

The app makes the following network requests:

Registering your device with our notification server (Supabase) when you save settings
Syncing your selected list contents with our notification server when items change
Receiving scheduled push notifications from Apple Push Notification service

Beyond the data described above, these requests contain no personal information.

Third-party services

ListBox uses the following third-party services:

Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — for delivering notifications to your device. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
Supabase — our backend infrastructure for storing notification preferences and scheduling pushes. Subject to Supabase's privacy policy.

Data deletion

To delete your data from our servers, you can either:

Uninstall the app — once the app is removed from your device, Apple's APNs will mark your token invalid, and our system automatically deletes invalid device records on the next notification cycle. Associated list data is deleted at the same time.
Contact us — email info@cassilethstudio.com and we will delete your device record within 30 days.

International users

We process your data in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information we collect will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Children

ListBox does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no advertising and no in-app purchases that require personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
