What's the difference between the notification modes?
ListBox has four modes that control how often you're reminded. Quiet — no scheduled notifications, but your widget still updates. Nudge — gentle reminders every few hours during your active window. Persistent — reminders every hour, keeping your list always in sight. Nag — frequent reminders every 30 minutes, for when something absolutely cannot fall through the cracks.
What is "Keep Present"?
When Keep Present is on, your most recent ListBox notification stays at the top of your Notification Center even after other notifications arrive. It's refreshed silently so the content stays current with your latest list state.
What is the Active Window?
The hours during which ListBox sends notifications. Outside this window, the app stays quiet. By default, 7 AM to 10 PM. You can adjust both ends in Settings.
How do I check off an item?
Tap the circle to the left of the item. The item is marked complete in your Apple Reminders list immediately, and shows with a strikethrough in ListBox until midnight, when it disappears from view.
How do I edit or delete an item?
Tap the item's text. A keyboard appears and you can edit the title — press Return or tap outside to save. Changes are written back to Apple Reminders. To delete an item, swipe left on it.
Why isn't ListBox showing all my reminders?
ListBox shows the first incomplete items in your selected list, sorted by Apple Reminders' default order. The widget and notification show a limited number of items so they remain readable on your home screen and lock screen. The full list is visible in the app.
Does ListBox work without an internet connection?
The app, widget, and your reminders all work offline. Notifications require an internet connection because they're delivered through Apple's push notification service.
How do I change which list ListBox is tracking?
Open Settings within the app and tap the list picker. You can select any list from your Apple Reminders. ListBox tracks one list at a time.
Why don't I see my list in the picker?
ListBox needs permission to access Apple Reminders. If you denied permission during onboarding, go to iOS Settings → ListBox → Reminders and turn it on.
How do I add the widget to my home screen?
Long press your home screen until apps wiggle, tap the + button in the top corner, search for ListBox, choose your size, and add it. The widget will display the items from your selected list.
Why are my notifications repeating?
That's the point — ListBox is designed to make your list impossible to ignore. If the repetition is too much, switch to a quieter mode in Settings (Nudge or Quiet).
