Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Cassileth Studio website and every app and tool we publish. Where an individual app has its own policy, that policy applies to that app in addition to this one.
What we collect
We collect as little as possible. Our iOS apps run on your device and do not send personal data to us. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking on this site or in our apps.
Financial account data
Some Cassileth Studio tools connect to financial institutions to display account balances. We use Plaid Inc. to make these connections. When you link an account:
- Access is read-only. We can view balances and account details; we cannot move money or change anything at your institution.
- We never see or store your bank login credentials. You enter them directly with Plaid or your institution, and we receive only an access token.
- Balance data is stored in an encrypted database used only to show you your own accounts.
- We do not sell, share, or disclose financial data to anyone, for any purpose.
- You can revoke access at any time from within the tool or through your institution. Revoking deletes the stored token and stops all further access.
Plaid's handling of your data is governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
Data we hold
Any data we hold is stored with reputable hosting providers, encrypted in transit and at rest, and kept only as long as it is needed to provide the tool. We do not retain data after you disconnect an account or stop using a tool.
Children
Our apps and tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
